'About Anti-Natalism,' a feature film written and directed by Wataru Shibata, will mark its Japan premiere in December this year.
This film is a story where a philosophical class that addresses antinatalism at a university leads 4 students into giving serious thought to issues of life, procreation, pregnancy and desire for suicide.
It has enjoyed its success at film festivals such as Moscow Internatilnal Film Festival and World Fest Houston (The Houston International Film Festival), at the former of which it was selected in Tigers and Dragons section, and at the latter it won the Silver Remi Award in the feature film category.
A long wait for its Japan premiere will be over on December 4, 2022, as it is going to be screened at an event organized by 'Namonaki Eigakan Project' in Yorii city, Saitama, Japan.
