2021
JAN 29
FOUNDATION
Yuichi Furuno and Asagi Hozumi agreed to co-found "有感生物反生殖協会/The Association of Antinatalism for Sentient Beings," and the start of exstence of this organization was declared with a tweet by Furuno.
FEB 7
OFFICIAL LAUNCH
We changed our name to 無生殖協会/The Association of Anti-Procreationism in Japan (The AAPJ), and announced our official launch on social media.
FEB 14
ESTABLISHMENT OF RULES
The AAPJ, who had 13 members, had its first meeting and established official rules, requiring annual general meetings to be had every year.
AUG 29
1ST AGM
The first annual general meeting saw 3 board members selected and joining the board, which had previously consisted of 2 co-directors. Additionally, new types of membership were created so that The AAPJ could welcome a wider variety of members.
2022
AUG 28
2ND AGM
The 2nd AGM saw the English name of the organiozation changed from "The Association of Anti-Procreationism in Japan" to "Antinatalism Japan". It also approved proposed changes to the way the name appears by the side of the logo, improving the aesthetics of the organization for the expected start of street outreach events.
2023
AUG 12
FIRST STREET OUTREACH EVENT
The Street Outreach dpt. had the very first stret outreach event under the name of Antinatalism Japan on August 12.
AUG 28
3RD AGM
Furuno had been one of co-directors alongside with Hozumi since the launch of ANJ, but he decided to resign at the 3rd AGM. 2 new board members were elected, and the board consists of 4 members.
